Only Internerd we can get

Not sure if the neighbour has moved his access point or something but the only place we can get internet is the bottom of the garden. This is perfectly ok on a fine evening like this but more of a pain when it's wet and cold. It's going to be another week before Virgin turn up to put in our cable connection so until then we continue to leach on the only open network in the area out of 20. Bless those not paranoid enough to lock down their wifi!

Had an evening cycle along the thames to test out jola's new bike (a compulsory form of transport in oxford). Felt compelled to stop at the head of the river for refreshment.

Satisfied, Very Tired.

Been a bit of a long day. Got up at 5am to get finished on the packing. The movers arrived at 9am and left us at 6pm.

Now we can sit in the bottom of the garden, listening to the trees and getting the last of the sunshine.

AND there is a free wireless node that I can get on right at the bottom of the garden too. Result!

Jola in the garden.

Bit of a "spot the stubborn pole" this one. Despite being told that the landlord is going to have the garden cleaned she is out there weeding so that "It will look pretty in the morning".

Its really nice to have a garden that still gets good sunshine at seven o'clock in the evening.

Moving at last

After a few last minute glitches we are finally getting stuff in the door.
